Abuso de álcool e drogas e violência contra as mulheres : denúncias de vividos

This study aimed to analyze the interface between the abuse of alcohol and other drugs by companions and the experience of women who has denounced violence situations. It is a qualitative research guided by the thematic content analysis, with interviews conducted in March and April 2010, with thirteen women who underwent the record of violence in a Police Station for Women and Police Emergency Department of a city in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It was observed that, in a world surrounded by fights, humiliation, aggression, submission and suffering, the companions abuse of alcohol and drugs enhanced the violence experienced by the interviewed women. Besides seeking to qualify the mental health care of women in the context of violence, since this condition substantially affects their health, as well as all other dimensions, it appears to be essential to articulate attention to women in situations of violence with actions of prevention of alcohol and / or other drugs by their companions.This study aimed to analyze the interface between the abuse of alcohol and other drugs by companions and the experience of women who has denounced violence situations. Processo de empoderamento feminino mediado pela qualificação para o trabalho na construção civil

Investigacion cualitativa, exploratoria-descriptiva que tuvo por objetivo conocer las repercusiones del Programa de Extension Universitaria Mujeres Ganando Ciudadania en la vida cotidiana de las mujeres participantes. Fue desarrollada en una ciudad del interior de Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Participaron del estudio 13 mujeres egresadas del programa. Las entrevistas semiestructuradas se llevaron a cabo de enero a agosto/2011. El analisis de contenido tematico destaco la categoria: proceso de empoderamiento a partir de la participacion de las mujeres en el Programa Mujeres Ganando Ciudadania. Se identifico la construccion de la confianza, un cambio significativo en la actitud y en el pensamiento de la mujer en relacion a la percepcion de si misma, conocimiento y poder de decision. Mostraron transformaciones en la forma de pensar acerca de los papeles sociales de mujeres y hombres a partir de los puntos de referencia de ciudadania y empoderamiento. Se concluye que esta experiencia, desde lo que respecta a la Extension hasta el estudio actual, constituye un tema actual y necesario en el area de salud de la mujer.Qualitative research, exploratory-descriptive study which aimed to know the repercussions of the University Extension Program of Women Gaining Citizenship in the daily life of participant women. It was developed in an inland town of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. There were 13 women that participated in the study which were egresses from the Program involved. The semi-structured interviews were carried out from January to August 2011. The thematic content analysis stood out the category: empowerment process from the participation in the Women Gaining Citizenship Program. It was identified the construction of confidence, significant change in attitude and thinking of women in relation to their self-perception, knowledge and power of decision. They expressed changes in the way of thinking at the social roles of women and men, from references of citizenship and empowerment. Its concluded that such experience, as much as regards the Extension as the current study, constitutes a necessary and current issues in the womens health area.

Exame de papanicolau: conhecimento de usuárias de uma unidade básica de saúde

Objective: to identify the knowledge of women attending to a Primary Care Unit, located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, on the preventive cervical screening (Papanicolau). Method: this is a descriptive exploratory study with a qualitative approach, conducted with 122 women aged 25 to 64 years. We used a questionnaire with open and closed questions. Data collection was conducted from April to December 2011. Data analysis was performed through thematic analysis, yielding two categories. Results: the women interviewed showed knowledge of examination, motivation to take this test and get their results spontaneously. Some difficulties were highlighted as the service opening hours and scheduling system. Conclusion: health professionals should clarify about pap smears, and the nursing role as motivator through health education for the exam

Focus group on qualitative research: experience report

OBJECTIVE to report the experience of applying the focus group technique for production of data in qualitative research. METHOD four group sessions were held from May to June 2015, with the participation of professionals from the public sector of PHC and from specialized service. RESULTS the way focus group was developed is described in steps: planning, recruitment, ambience, group sessions, and evaluation. CONCLUSION we highlight that the focus group, as a technique to produce data in collective space, can contribute not only to the construction of knowledge in Nursing, but also to the research approach with the assistance practice.A técnica do Grupo Focal tem sido eleita nas pesqui sas nas áreas sociais e no campo da saúde está sendo cada vez mais utilizada. Os sujeitos par tici ntes da pesquisa encontram no Grupo Focal liberdade de expressão, que é favorecida pelo ambiente, levando a uma participação efetiva. Este estudo focaliza a técnica do Grupo Fo cal tendo como objetivo evidenciar as contribuições, como técnica de coleta de dados na p esquisa qualitativa, através do relato de experiência vivenciado na pesquisa do Mestrado em E ducação cuja temática foi “A bioética na formação do profissional enfermeiro: contribuiçõ es para um cuidado mais humanizado”. Utilizou-se como método teórico o materialismo hist órico-dialético, numa abordagem qualitativa. O Grupo Focal foi a técnica eleita par a coleta de dados grupais. Foram sujeitos da pesquisa, docentes e alunos do curso de Enfermag m de duas Instituições de Ensino Superior da cidade de Ponta Grossa. Para a execução da técnica contou-se com a participação do moderador e do observador, sendo o rigor metodol ógic respeitado. A humanização na formação do profissional Enfermeiro foi o assunto f ocalizado nos dois Grupos Focais. Os resultados foram analisados com o auxílio da Anális e de Conteúdo de Bardin, gerando as seguintes categorias de análise: a) condições objetivas de trabalho; b) humanização/humanizador; c) dicotomia teoria/prática. Conclui-se que a técnica do grupo focal propicia momentos de profunda reflexão possib ilitando reviver situações acadêmicas e profissionais. O estudo apontou a riqueza da técnic a como instrumento para melhorar as relações interpessoais, vindo ao encontro da pesqui sa alitativa quando esta trabalha com o universo dos significados, das atitudes corresponde ndo a um espaço mais profundo das relações.

Care for women victims of violence: empowering nurses in the pursuit of gender equity

OBJECTIVES To study the care of women victims of violence provided by nurses in emergency services and to analyse the practices that target the empowerment of women and gender equity. METHODS A qualitative, descriptive study conducted by means of interviews with 10 nurses of an emergency and obstetrics unit of a university hospital and local emergency service of a city in southern Brazil from January to April 2013. We used thematic content analysis and defined gender as the analytical category. RESULTS Clinical elements refer to nursing procedures and techniques. Problematization Methodology and Convergent Healthcare Research: praxis proposal in research

OBJECTIVE Presenting theoretical subsidies for the nursing care practice based on the possibility of convergence between research practice and educational practice. METHOD The Convergent Healthcare Research was developed from February to August 2015, with an intersectoral working group formed by 32 participants, including health, social services and public safety professionals. Ten group meetings were organized, based on the Problematization Methodology with Maguerezs Arch. RESULTS The reflection-action movement resulted in the shared (re)building of the flowchart of care to women subjected to a situation of violence, as a device for communication between the services. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS The research practice based on the Problematization Methodology with Maguerezs Arch proved to be useful and viable in qualitative research, which has as purpose the transformation of the reality studied.

Ações de enfermeiras em planejamento reprodutivo na atenção primária à saúde

Aim: To know the actions in reproductive planning performed by nurses on primary health care in a city in the countryside of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Methods: An exploratory research with a qualitative and descriptive approach, held in municipality in the Central region of Rio Grande do Sul, from September to October 2015, with the participation of 12 nurses. Semi-structured interviews were used to produce the data and the thematic content analysis to analyze. Results: In general, the developed activities are individual, focusing mostly on the biologicals aspects. The nurses recognize the need of a systematization of the activities since they point out future plans. There are still some difficulties that make it arduous the carrying out of activities. Conclusion: Reproductive planning doesn’t take place the way it is recommended, not depending on only the nurse. It’s necessary to undertake efforts where the management of health services, together with professionals committed to sexual and reproductive health, commit to develop reproductive planning spaces as a tool for health promotion.

El grupo focal en el estudio cualitativo: narración de la experiencia
